At Acacia Dales Services Ltd, we provide home-based, non-clinical support services that help adults live well, stay connected, and maintain independence in their own homes and communities.

Our services are:

We work with people, supporting independence rather than creating dependency.

Our Support Can Include

Our services may include the following non-regulated support activities:

Companionship & Social Support

  • Friendly companionship and conversation
  • Support to reduce loneliness and social isolation
  • Accompaniment to social, community, or faith-based activities

Support with Everyday Tasks

  • Assistance with shopping and errands
  • Help with household organisation
  • Light domestic support (e.g., tidying, laundry, dishwashing)

Support with Routines & Structure

  • Support to establish and maintain daily routines
  • Prompting and encouragement to support independence
  • Assistance with planning daily activities

Meal Preparation Support

  • Preparing simple meals and drinks
  • Encouraging healthy eating and hydration
  • Support with menu planning and shopping

(This does not include feeding or specialist dietary management.)

Accompaniment to Appointments

  • Practical support and reassurance for attending appointments, meetings, or community activities
  • Guidance, reminders, and emotional support
  • Ensuring individuals feel safe and confident without providing medical or clinical care

Emotional Wellbeing & Reassurance

  • Emotional support and wellbeing check-ins
  • A calm, reassuring presence
  • Support during periods of change or adjustment

Support For People With Mild Learning Disabilities & Autism

We provide person-centred, non-clinical support for adults with mild learning disabilities or autism who benefit from structured, consistent, and enabling support.

Our approach focuses on:

  • Supporting independence and daily living skills
  • Encouraging choice, confidence, and self-advocacy
  • Using clear communication and predictable routines
  • Respecting individual preferences, sensory needs, and identity

Support is always tailored to the individual and delivered in partnership with them and those important to them.

What Our Services Do Not Include (Important)

To ensure clarity:

Acacia Dales Services Ltd does not currently provide:

  • Personal care (e.g., washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Nursing or clinical care
  • Medication administration
  • Specialist behavioural or therapeutic interventions
  • Emergency or medical services

These activities are regulated separately and fall outside the scope of our service at this time.

How Support is Planned

All support is planned collaboratively and reviewed regularly.

This includes:

  • An initial discussion to understand needs and goals
  • A personalised support plan
  • Ongoing communication and review
  • Adjustments as circumstances or needs change

We aim to provide support that is appropriate, proportionate, and responsive.

Safety & Quality

We are committed to delivering support that is safe, reliable, and of high quality.

  • Robust safeguarding procedures aligned with the Care Act 2014
  • Staff trained in safeguarding adults and professional boundaries
  • Clear processes for raising concerns or complaints
  • Ongoing learning and quality improvement
